Facility Overview
 
We are located at 2025 Courtneypark Drive East, Mississauga. When you arrive at the address, proceed up the driveway and find a spot in the parking lot. Upon entering the building, feel free to have a seat in the cafeteria and we will meet there. Bathroom facilities are located near the elevator.
 
Course Overview
 
In the FESTI Auto Extrication Course, you will spend over 90% of your time developing hands-on skills at our state-of-the-art training facility. In accordance with NFPA Chapter 8, this Operations level course focuses on real-life skill development focusing on the foundational knowledge and practical skills to utilize auto extrication rescue techniques safely and effectively. You will be challenged to develop discipline, situational awareness, and professionalism. This program reviews equipment available to responders and teaches techniques and procedures for safe operations.
 
Course Details
 
This course will start at 8:00 am and is scheduled until 5:00 pm. You will work in small groups where the student experience is our priority. We encourage you to bring a bottle for water as fountains and jugs will be available. For lunch, we have refrigerators and microwaves available and there is also a wide variety of restaurants available near FESTI as well. 
 
Changerooms and shower facilities are available.
 
Required gear
 
For the practical portion, please dress according to the weather as we will be outside. If possible, please bring your own personal issued rescue gear if you have it including helmet, safety glasses, bunker gear and boots. If you do not have bunker gear available, we have gear that you may utilize.
